"Sierra K-9 Trials"

25th Annual "Sierra K-9" Trials will be hosted by the Tulare County Sheriff and Visalia Police Departments on Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 7:00am to 4:00pm at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia.  Delicious Tri Tip BBQ and concessions will be available for purchase and there is free admission into the event.  This is a competition of obedience, agility, searching, and protection by police K-9's from all over California!  They come to Visalia to compete in this trial which is the longest running in the Western USA.  This is done to build relationships between various law enforcement agencies as well as comradery.  If you have never experienced seeing a K-9 Unit in action it is definitely something you'll want to see!  Bring the entire family to this exciting event!  If you need additional information please contact the Tulare County Sheriff or the Visalia Police Departments.
