Woodies in the Valley

Saturday will be the event's "show and shine," which will be held on the front lawn of Redwood High School, 1001 W. Main St., from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. As in past events, there is no entry fee and there will be lots of 60's music, raffle prizes, and great fun. This event will also be open to the public at no charge.
At 2 p.m., those interested will take off on a cruise through the blossoms and ag country of Tulare County. Chevy enthusiast and CV Woodie Club member Tom Meleo has once again offered to open up his collection nestled amongst the citrus orchards of Strathmore for our enjoyment, so our cruise will be heading to his place. You can be certain this will be a fun and picturesque cruise – even without the beach as a backdrop! Be sure to bring your cameras! Our local A&W franchise owner, Craig Van Horn has offered again to bring his "Root Beer-mobile" to our events, where he will serve root beer floats. The cruise will will end back in Visalia in plenty of time to do whatever you like - whether it's to head home or hang around and have dinner with fellow woodie friends at a plethora of great local restaurants and enjoy the rest of the evening in Visalia
