Kids and Rock & Roll

I remember being about 5 and starting classical piano lesson, this continued at different stages while I was growing up.  At 11 was my first classical vocal coach and I studied with 2 others between then and when I was about 20 years old.  In between of course was the dance lessons!  This private training along with dance, choir and instruments at public school enabled me to play music in bands, for fun and profit all my life.  Music is a great way of expressing feeling, and just to have fun.

Check out these kids!  I found a video from back in October of 2011 which is down below, they are playing Enter Sandman by Metallica.  They are still rocking and rolling today...and a lot more grown.  It's so cool to see kids enjoying rock and roll and keeping it alive!

I took this right off the Facebook page of the group called the "The Mini Band" here is a link to their page.

The Mini Band are very young rock band aged 13 to 16.
After a video of them went viral, they received worldwide media attention, including from the BBC, ITV and Sky, and received a video response from Metallica praising them.

With over over 34 million views on youtube, 61,000 fans on Facebook and having played some of Britain's biggest venues along with endorsements from Hiwatt Amplification, EMG pickups, Pure Tone Music, Daisy Rock Guitars, Storey Guitars, Spaun Drums, Scymtek Cymbals, Los Cabos drumsticks, Wampler FX, DigiTech and Elixir Strings, these kids are no novelty act!

Here is the older video that I saw, click on the link and check out their Facebook page and see how they are doing now.
