Today the Tulare Rotary is having the 17th Annual Blood Drive at the Tulare Veterans Memorial Building,1771 E. Tulare Avenue in Tulare until 7pm tonight.  Free child Care and Food all day provided by the Kiwanis & Am vets Post 56.  Free T-Shirts  and Snacks too. They host this event each year in honor of the people who lost their lives on 9/11, 2001.

There is always a critical shortage of blood, so please consider donating!  One donation of a pint can save up to 3 people.

Cancer patients seem to always need blood transfusions, they are one of the number 1 groups that your donation goes to.  I personally have had my family members lives saved by getting blood while in the hospital, so I am so thankful that people do donate.  That is why I donate, its a wonderful and easy way to give back.  And since today also happens to be "Pay It Forward Day', why not!
