The one thing that is really fulfilling about my job in Radio are the many Organizations that I come in contact with.  I have been on air with 99.7 Classic Rock for about 12 years now.  During these past years I have made so many friends that started out as contacts for perhaps a commercial, PSA or an event that the Station was taking part in.  These people and the things they do for our community and each other make be feel so happy to be a part of their circle.

Giving back to your community can take on many forms.  You can give money, goods or time.  I give a small amount each month to one of the Organizations that have a special place in my heart.  I don't miss the money, and it really helps them.  I like the fact that I am able to go and host and be a part of many events in the South Valley that raise money or bring awareness to their cause.

I did a google search and found this link, you can click here and see it.  There are many places to volunteer.  I even have a friend who goes to the library once a week and has her own section and shelves the books back!  The possibilities are endless, but there is one thing in common...you will feel fantastic and fulfilled for doing it!
