This past Sunday I was tagged in a facebook post from my good friend Kenny Ray.  He shared that Marie Dowdy was contacted by Debbie Benavente, who was trying to coordinate a last minute event for a local family.  It turns out that a man is battling stage 4 cancer and currently at Kaweah Delta, he used to ride, but due to his health is no longer able too. 

Last night was his 30th Wedding Anniversary and it was going to be spent in the hospital room with his Wife.  So the call went out for some bikes to show up at G A Motorsports around 6:45pm for a hospital drive by.  It was said that a few bikes at most were expected and hoped for, but you know Bikers if we can do something for someone, we do.  There was a total of about 60 bikes and with single and two up riders.  Some of the Clubs that were there to support were Cochinos MC, Team Flatline, 5150 Girls MC, Legacy Riders, Riding 4 a Reason, Hell and Back, Bikers Against Child Abuse and The Lost Girls.  (If I missed anyone please let me know)  

The family was SO happy!  It was wonderful to ride past and see them outside of the hospital as the bikes went by.  Their smiles were amazing.  His wife and children want everyone to know how thankful they are to everyone who turned out on short notice to bring this special gift to him.  I personally want to thank everyone who came out and supported this event!  You are all so incredible!  There was a video taken and I'll post it when it becomes available.
