Dayna Keyes

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of a dear member of our radio family, Dayna Keyes.

She was a great shining and talented light, with a funny and vibrant personality. On and off the air, Dayna was truly one of a kind. She was raised on the edge of a drum riser touring with her father and fellow rock n' roll royalty, drummer Keith Knudsen of The Doobie Brothers, which is where her love for music first began. She grew up in Los Angeles before moving to the Bay Area in 2000, where she naturally found her calling and began her radio career.

Momentum General Manager Bill Lynch says "We feel grateful for every day we had the chance to work with her, and enjoy her talents on air. She leaves behind a hole in the station and our hearts that will be impossible to fill."

We send our love to her husband Bear, Momma Kate, and cat Zippy during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to either the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry or the American Society of Addiction Medicine to help with awareness.
